San Francisco Art Dealer Mayer Flaks Loves the HBO series "Game of Thrones"

Art comes in many forms and no one knows this more than San Francisco art dealer Mayer Flaks. Mayer Flaks is an art dealer in San Francisco who routinely attends various art festivals held in his beloved city including the performing arts and film festivals. After hearing about the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones," Mayer Flaks figured he'd give the series a try. Despite the graphic nature of the series, Mayer Flaks agreed with many of his friends that it is an entertaining, if not, addictive television series.

Mayer Flaks tries not to live to sedentary of a life but, every once in a while, there is something that ensures he will be glued to his couch. "Game of Thrones" is another one of the series that Mayer Flaks seems to plan his life around every Sunday. Mayer Flaks understands good work when he sees it and the intricate story of the series keeps is attention every Sunday.

Mayer Flaks is equally impressed with the visual art. The costumes are well done and the sets are amazing. To get the real authentic look, the series is shot in multiple real-world locations. Mayer Flaks is just one of many people to be inspired by the series.

To show his support and interest in the world created by the "Game of Thrones" author, Mayer Flaks bought a cookbook inspired by the old world recipes. Mayer Flaks enjoys good food and is not afraid to experiment with new recipes himself. He purchased "A Feast of Ice and Fire: The Official Game of Thrones Companion Cookbook," to experiment with recipes designed to fit the imaginary kingdoms of the series. The only word of advice Mayer Flaks can give when it comes to cooking meals based off of the "Game of Thrones" fantasy world is to be an experienced baker. Many of the recipes are time consuming to make.
